We have done extensive research on this subject by way of mailing and handing out questionnaires, talking with musicians, music store owners, booking agents, recording studio owners etc., and we came to the conclusion that what we had suspected was true. There was a definite need and interest for a rehearsal studio in the Indianapolis area.
After going through the long and sometimes frustrating process of finding a place to start our business we came upon the building that is the current home of Rising Star Rehearsals Inc. Located on the Southside of Indy, we provide two clean carpeted rooms that are away from any distractions that often come with those "convenient and cost efficient" garages and basements such as neighbors complaining about the loud, obnoxious noise coming from next door, or those ever-loving parents telling you to find another place to practice.
We, along with the bands that rent at our studio have all rehearsed in our share of garages, basements, barns, movie theatres, indoor sports gyms, and so on with many stories to tell about each experience. Now with the opening of Rising Star, bands and musicians will have a place to turn when faced with the adverse situation of finding a place to practice.
We are here not only to provide bands with quality rehearsal space, or for our own personal success, but to help strengthen the Indy music scene. This is only the beginning, as we have many ideas for the future including our own building and full scale music/entertainment business. We feel that our name is synonymous with our clients in that they are more than just local bands. They are Rising Stars!! Thanks for your interest.
